Examined upon an allegaction and schedules
on the behalfe of the said Robinson and others.

Boltonsgate London Marchant, aged 40 yeares
or thereabouts sworne and examined.
13. To the first article hee saith that the arlate Rocus parré was and
14. is an Inhabitant of Rotterdam, who hee knoweth for that as a XXXXX
15. this deponent hath and corresponded with him, and saith lately bin over
16. his same thither to him, to be by him the said Rocus placed out there at
17. poole; and hee well knoweth that here correspondeth alsoe with the
18. producent mr Robinson, this deponent having seene lettres that have
19. bin written and sent between them as correspondents, and for an Inhabitant
20. of Rotterdam, a dutchman and a subiect of the States of the united Netherlands
21. hee the said Rocus parrié was and is commonly accompte. And otherwise
22. hee doth not depose.
23. To the second article hee saith and deposeth that in or about the
24. moneth of October last past the said George Robinson wrote over
25. to Rotterdam unto the said Rocus parré desiring him to freight a
26. dutch shipp from thence for Cadiz or Saint Lucars to lade oranges
27. and lemmons and bring thence into the downes ˹there to receive the said Robinsons orders˺ and alsoe to write over
28. to his the said purser's factor or correspondent at Cadiz or saint Lucars
29. to lade the said oranges shipp with oranges and lemmons, and all in
30. his the said Parré's owne name, in regard of the differences betweene
31. England and Spaine, and ordered (by his said lettres) the said Parré
32. to drawe XX bills of exchange (for payment for the said oranges and
33. lemmons) upon him the said Robinson when for who account of whom
34. and company, the said oranges and lemmons were really to be laden,
35. and who was to give order for disposall of them when they could
36. be brought into the downes. The promisses hee deposeth
37. because the said Robinson advised with this deponent (before his writing)
38. touching the said freighting and voyage, and afterwards showed him
39. his lettre written to the said Parré thereabouts.
40. To the third article hee saith and deposeth that the said Rocus Parré
41. shortly after such writing by the said mr Robinson, retourned another
42. unto him (which this deponent sawe) purporting that hee had received
43. his lettres and would effect the contents thereof, and by another letter hee
44. wrote to the said Robinson that hee had according to his said order
45. freighted a shipp for him there named the Arimes of Brill (whereof
46. Martin Williamson Rosse was master) as in the name and for the
47. service of him the said Parré, but in truth and deede for him the
48. said Robinson, and had sent her for Saint Lucars or Cadiz to lade oranges
49. and lemmons, and that hee had ordered Gilbert Melse of saint his
50. factor or correspondent in these parts to lade the said shipp with
51. oranges lemmons and corke, and send her therewith to the downes
52. and order the skipper there to expect orders, whither hee received thence
carry
