Biographical synthesis
Andrew Bowman (b. ca. 1621; d. ?). Mariner.
Late gunner on the ship the Tankervaile.
Resident in 1657 in Shadwell.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Thirty-six year old Andrew Bowman deposed on September 29th 1657 in the High Court of Admiralty.[1] He was examined on an allegation in the case of "Thomas Burton master of the ship the Tankervile against Thomas Cockerell, Ralph Curtis, Marmaduke Jenkins, James Burland, and Hendrick Sta[?i]res mariners and officers of the said ship in speciall and all in generall etcetera".[2]
