Biographical synthesis
Robert Kilner (b. ca. 1630; d. ?). Merchant taylor.
Resident in 1657 in the parish of Allhallows Barking.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Twenty-seven year old Robert Kilner deposed on September 26th 1657 in the High Copurt of Admiralty. He was examined "Touching the Hope Magnus Alexandersson Master".
Kilner stated that he had been at the Rose Taverne in Tower Street London on the last Thursday, where he had witnessed the sale of the ship the Hope by Magnus Alexanderson.[1]
