The first day of June 1653. [CENTRE HEADING]
Examined upon the sayd Allegation.
Rp. 4
George Buschaert borne att Hamburgh, and living
att Antwerpe merchant aged thirty three
yeares or thereabouts a witnes sworne
and examined.
To the first article of the sayd allegation he saith and deposeth, that the
arlate shipp the Sampson as this deponent hath credibly heard and be;eiveth
was built att Lubcek and there bought by the arlate Otto George for his
owne Accompt and the owners hereafter mentioned about seven yeares agoe
And saith that from the tyme that the sayd shipp was first employed the
arlate Vincent Van Campen, John da Windt, ffrederick Bevia, Robert
Jacomo, and Otto George have bene, and att present are Owners and
Proprietors each of them of one eighth part of the sayd shipp her tackle and
furniture and so accounted and for and during the same tyme, the arlate Daniell da Leon
and ffrancis Pannincqr were and are owners ioyntly of one eighth part
And
