To the 13 he saith that in __ the sayd ship the Morning Star or Golden Star
shall ad_ind__d pri__ he deiposed(?) saith benefit and advantage(s)
the __by as by the lawes and usages of the Commonwealth is arrangement(?)
to be allowed in saith safe to one serving in the same quality as this
Respondent(?) did in the advantage. And further advantage ____ not and
organise(?) he samed depose.

The Same day examined upon the sayd allegation
Francis Pleasure of Rosemary Lane in
London Mariner aged four and twenty yeares or
thereabouts a ____ sworne and examined dop__
and saith as following word(?)
To the first article of the sayd allegation the deponent saith that the sayd shipps
Goldon(?) Star or Morning Star and __ldaing ____ in fight by
the Advantage frigot(?) and mater homm__ arlate upon the English coast
which he kneweth being one of the Company of the Advantage and o___
saving his subsequent depositions samed depose
To the second he saith the sayd ship and lading were ___ on or about
the 23th day of ffebruary 1652 last past off of Boathy(?) about two liage(?)
from the English shoares which he kneweth being p°fend att the sayd seizure
and otherwise samed depose
To the third article of the sayd allegation he saith that att the tyme of the sayd
seizure and for many monthes before and fines(?) there was and is
upon warr and hoslity betweene this Commonwealth and the States of the
United Provinces and their fabiels(?), and the same was notorious and
well knowne as he believeth att Cadir and other(?) places in Spaine and
in fflanders and other(?) (===) to beyond the soad(?) and to gd(?) captaine(?)
and Companie of the Golden Star and otherwise he samed depose
To the fourth he saith the sayd shipp the tyme aforesayd floanted(?) for(?)
Dourse(?) __ the English Dhammell(?) Eastward(?) and otherwise samed
depose
To the fifth article of the sayd allegation he saith that the sayd GoldenStar
being under sayth upon the English shoare as aforesayd was haled(?) or
called onto by the Avant.
