Biographical synthesis
William Miller (alt. Willielmus Miller) (b. ca. 1632; d. ?). Mariner.
Boatswain of the ship the Elizabeth of Gloucester. Miller does not specify his office on board ship in his deposition, but he is named in a wage schedule attached to the relavant Admiralty Court allegation. [1]
Resident in 1660 in Bristol.
Evidence from High Court of Admiralty
Twenty-eight year old William Miller deposed on September 20th 1660 in the High Court of Admiralty.[2] He was examined on a libel on behalf of Simon Bonython, the master of the Elizabeth of Gloucester, in the cause of "Simon Bonython against the ship the Elizabeth of Glocester".[3]
