RICHARD OXINDEN of Lambeth in the County of Surrey//
Esq:r maketh Oath that he was p:sent when the said Def:t Maximilian//
Did heretofore seale & execute some Deed or Deeds of certaine//
Messuage & Lands in Chatham & Gillingham or one of them//
In Kent to the comp:lt & his heires, And that the Compl:t//
Att his getting into East India about the yeare One thousand//
Six hundred & sixty two Did intrust Elizabeth Dalyson of//
London wydow his sister deceased w:th all his writeings Deeds//
& papers & the managem:t of all his affaires here And he//
Believes the said Deed or Deeds concerning the said lands//
Were among others left w:th the said Elizabeth And this//
Deponent saith that in the time of her life & the last//
Sicknesse of the Elizabeth in the yeare of our Lord//
One thousand six hundred & sixty five the said Elizabeth//
Did tell this Deponent that the Def:t Maximilian had gotten the sd//
Deed or Deeds out of her possession And this Deponent//
Verily beleeveth that the said Def:d Maximilian hath or had the said//
Deeds or one of them in his possession & that the//
Comp:lt nor any p:son for him or by his appointm:t hath the//
Said Deed of Conveyance in his or their power or possession//
