1. To the 14th he saith the arlate William Marshall had 22 negroes
2. seized on att Bahia worth 50 millrees per head one with
3. another making eleven hundred millrees beside Elephants
4. teeth and other things of good value and the sayd good moneys of and price
5. of the other goods invested in sugars woul,d have yielded four
6. for one profit att Lisbone, all which he lost by the seizure
7. aforesaid which he knoweth for the reasons aforesaid

8. To the 15th he saith the sayd Captaine. Hurdidge had a Cabin well
9. furnished with all things requisite as globes, plate, gold
10. clothes and other things, all which this deponent hath heard
11. and believeth were seized by the Hollanders att which seizure
12. was occasioned by the former seizure made by the Portugueses
13. And further not being in the sayd ship upon seized by the
14. Hollanders he cannot depose

15. To the 16th he saith the mariners of the said ship, (besides
16. the sayd Captaine his servants and and Marshall aforesaid who was
17. pilot) were about nine persons all English and suffered
18. damage in losse of tyme, cloathes and goods besides their cloyes to a great
19. value and this deponent for his owne part suffered
20. in his such losse by the sayd seizure the sume of five
21. hundred pounds sterling for he saith that all such seizure of
22. the said shipp by the Portugalls the sayd shipp was indebted
23. to this deponent for three years service att three pounds
24. per moneth which should then and there have bene paid to him
25. and the same had not the sayd seizure happened and
26. would being invested into sugars have yielded profit that after
27. the proportion aforesaid att Lisbon the whole sume of which
28. would have amounted to five hundred pounds sterling as aforesaid

29. To the 17th he saith that the sayd Captaine Hurdidge besides others
30. damage susteyned by the Portugall suffered losse and
31. preiudice by the keeping of about one hundred and
32. four score millrees for the forty days and upwards that
33. the sayd shipp was unlading and repairing att Angola as
34. aforesaid the sume of two hundred ninety millrees and
35. four hundred Rees or thereabouts, the dryet and charge of
36. keeping the said Negroes amounting to 40 Rees the day per
37. head. And further cannot depose.

38. To the 18th he saith that this deponent and the arlate Joaynes
39. had two negroes taken from them by the Portugueses worth
40. fifty millrees per head and this deponent besides the losse of
41. his sayd negroe, and five hundred pounds aforesaid lost
42. twenty millrees that should have bene payd him att the Custome
43. house at Brazeele for his service done to he said Portugalls
