A Thomas Sharpe, mariner of London, who deposed on March 10th 1656 aged twenty-eight is clearly a different individual.[1]

Twenty-six year old Thomas Sharpe deposed on April 5th 1656 in the High Court of Admiralty. The case concerned mariners' wages on the ship the Satisfaction, on which Sharpe had sailed as purser.[2]
