Thirty-five year old Richard Clayton deposed on September 26th 1653 in the High Court of Admiralty.[1] He was examined on an allegation in the case of XXX.
Richard Clayton stated that the ship the Harry Bonadventure was employedby Mr Longland at Leghorne to be in the service of the English Commonwealth under the command of Captaine Robert Swanley.
