dock of one Mr Graves beere dicks shoare by the order of James Watkins
the Master and one of the Owners of the ''Pilgrim'' And hee beleeveth that the repaires
of the damage done to the ''Pilgrim'' by reason of her head boltspritt and cables being
broke by the ''Exeter Merchant'', and her being runne on ground and wrunge as
aforesayd did cost the arlate Bland and Company a very considerable summe
heard and beleeveth, of which 14 moneths hee knoweth there were about eight moneths to
come when the damage aforesayd happened, for that hee knoweth shee was out
in her last voyage aforesayd only about 6 moneths, And further hee cannot depose
for that hee knoweth not whether her receiving the samage were the cause of her
owners altering or giving over the imployment shee was before designed
upon./
