I hope yo:e Godson (my oblidging Good Brother) Strentiam[1] In Curradged yo:e kindness, you Deare Unckle may bee partiall too him as being very meritting & obedyent But I bessech you looking to all y:t it related. Deare S:r there is sent By M:r Pusey[2] in y:e Loyall Merch:t Comand:e Cap:t Millett[3], a Box Directed to My Brother Streyns:m in his Absence to Broth:e Robert[4] or you w:ch I beseech you if hee bee Absent to receave & keep untouchet till his returne it is marked S:M: it is Tokens & other things from severall ffrends to him: All my sisters w:th my Man, give you theire humble service, affaires move very slowly since yo:e absence; Deane is as you left it, onely y:t little parlaur has suffered a Death, to rise more Glorious, I am witness of y:e present Ru[x]n [Could be "ruen" for "ruin"?]: Brooke hath not yett permited as a ???warning wee have spent y:e tyme ill, hope to recover it this summer, Poore Langdon is y:e same alsoe & soo it sho y:t ambition y:e favour of being esteemed by you.
